Karma

Sometimes karma doesn't come around to bite you......Sometimes it knocks on your door at 7:30 a.m. and says, "Hey remember that title search you did for me for free a couple of years ago when times were tough, well I'm here to build you a new porch."

Alrighty then, build 'til your heart's content. All finished but the painting. What a difference! Thank you!

Karma? I just finished painting my porch today. I'd say....ironic.

I wholeheartedly agree with Beckie- everything comes around, which is just one reason why we should be good to people.
I love this post.
Beth, I have nominated you for a little award that is circulating the blogosphere ;)

Louis, the carpentry is finished but there's painting to finish up......

Beckie, you are right. It was a lovely surprise and much needed.

The Elementary, You are right we should never miss an opportunity to be kind--it doesn't always come back but it's mighty nice when it does. Thank you for the award, you are so kind. I'm very glad that we found each other's writings I enjoy sharing your experiences too.

Hey Harry Smith, Thanks. I'm always moved by people who repay debts and show appreciation for good deeds done. It boosts my opinion of my fellow man. I know you will enjoy it more knowing how it got there.

Karma, dharma, samsara
that's my mantra!

Lovely porch. I always wanted a porch with a swing on it so I could be Julia Roberts in Sleeping With The Enemy...

Wouldn't go well with a granite house in Brittany though

Texican, yes, it was really nice of him and I LOVE the porch! He used that plastic wood that is made from recycled pop bottles and it will never need painting and won't wear out. I feel very lucky.

Hi Mouse, I would trade a porch swing for a granite house in Brittany--maybe we could house swap for a bit!

God bless Harry Smith. :c) No good deed, no matter how small should ever go unappreciated. What a lovely surprise. Enjoy your new porch Beth!
