A day on the Androscoggin

Today, Molly and I joined 38 other folks for a 10 mile leg of the Source to the Sea Trek on the Androscoggin River.

Lovely photos.
Do tell, how was the water?
And was it as hot in Maine as here--90s (F)?

I wish I were there. Water, sky. Just beautiful.

Paddlin' down the Androscoggin. Sounds like a song title. Maybe 'C' could work on that one. "Just Molly and me...and 38 makes 41...living in my blue heaven." Looks like a great trip. Did you carry your camera in a plastic bag? Pappy

kgmom, it was beautiful and the day was perfect--in the high 70's. We are experiencing one of those lovely canadian highs that we often get in the summer.

Mary, it was about everything I could want. A very nice day.

Texican, we'd call it paddlin' down the 'scrog (that's local parlance for Androscoggin). I carried the camera in a waterproof bag and just took it out in calm water. I would have liked to take more pictures but was too nervous about dumping it in the water.
