Just a reminder.......

Jayne is a morning person, her posts often pop up with my first cup of coffee and today she was lamenting the heat and humidity--so maybe it is time for a photo memory of what the other side of the year looks like. Enjoy!

Ahhhhh.... thanks Beth! I feel cooler already! It's supposed to be in the upper 90's today with the heat index above 100. Add in the humidity... and well... I'll just focus on the wonderful snow photos! Have a great day!

Is that last photo for real? A REALLY tall snow person?
Wow.

kgmom, yes it is for real and it might be that at 2:00 a.m. one winter morning I was awoken by the local sheriff's department who had apprehended my son scaling it with crampons and ice ax. This is not something I am particularly proud of, but it is kind of funny--just don't tell him.

Wow./ Just what I needed today. I walked in the hot sun for hours and was envious of people who looked cool and fresh like they stepped out of advertisements.
That was a great post to make :)

I'm so tired. I'll have to catch up tomorrow on your blog. I've missed a few posts.
I think I won't be going with Spouse... too exhausted... zzzzz

You know, funny you should post this since I am reading a book called "The Children's Blizzard," an historical account of the blizzard of 1888. It doesn't take long to start feeling cold when I'm reading this book. It's a heart wrenching story though but full of all kinds of weather facts. I learned alot.

I love it!

I have a book about the Antarctic exploration, and sometimes on sweltering days I pick it up and read the frigid descriptions of the frozen pole....and it does help to cool ya down!

Right now, I'd like to wrap my arms and legs around that snowman. Naked.
